HEY, I'M MAL! (THEY/THEM)

I'm a trans and non-binary certified personal trainer who had double-incision top surgery on March 17th, 2022. Top surgery was the most radical act of self-love I have ever given myself and I can confidently say that my life has improved dramatically since I got that extra weight off my chest (quite literally).

Something I struggled with during the whole top surgery process was the lack of movement resources available (pre and post). It was an eye-opening moment and made me realize how common it is for folks not to prioritize the care that is necessary for long-term success for pre and post surgery.

There are little movement based resources out there for gender-affirming top surgery. Surgeons and doctors aren't the ones informing us on how to prepare or recover from this procedure. Most often us folks are left on our own googling information that's not easy to find. That was my experience at least.

Through my own personal journey, learning and education, I was able to create these online courses to help my community. A pre and post top surgery guide that could have helped me so much during this already stressful time.

These courses are an inventory of strength and mobility exercises I wish I did pre and post top surgery.
